The exhibition had four sections. Besides digital projection, there was a gallery of selected print photographs of digitally accepted images. A gallery for members’ photographs was there and a gallery of special section where the images of temples of the whole of Purulia photographed by BPA members were displayed.

People of different ages attended the exhibition that continued for three days from 23rd to 25th January 2015.  They argued and debated on some digitally maneuvered photographs.  Today photography has adopted various techniques of painting and graphic arts.  Whether these can be termed photographs in true sense or not – was the main point of their arguments. The viewers gave their critical comments and suggestions in theNote Book.  BPA also announced the Award for best viewer’s comment.  There was another award for the highest number of vote from the viewers for the best image of the exhibition. And the viewers were enthused to see the exhibition again and again before casting their votes.

BPA is grateful for the enthusiasm of the people of the locality and also to them who came from a lot of distance afar.  The aim of the exhibition was not only to hold an annual show, it was more to arouse the sense of art in photography from across the country, it was more to create a mindset to uphold the culture of Barrackpore.
