The exhibition will remain open from 8th July to 10th July, from 4PM to 9PM.
BPA has a wider perspective in mind. It not only practices good photography for its members, it owns the responsibility for preaching this great art for the general people also. BPA is proud to announce that short photography course has already been introduced from the year 2015.

3rd Annual General Meeting of BPA was held on 15/11/2015.
The following members are elected as office bearers –
On 27.09.2015 members of Barrackpore Photolovers’ Association visited the rich heritage temples of Sripur, Somrabazar, Guptipara of Hooghly district and Ambika Kalna of Bardhaman district, West Bengal. BPA Prsident, Sri S.N.Bhattacharya, a researcher on Bengal terracota temples, guided the tour.
We had great pleasure to host 2nd All India Digital Salon of Barrackpore Photolovers’ Association which was held at the hall of Municipal Ward no.10, Bank Park, Barrackpore. Thanks to all the entrants who enriched our salon with their valuable photographs. We congratulate all the award winners. We are also thankful to the jury members Mr. Sudip Roychoudhury, Mr. Tapas Basu and Mr. Swarnendu Ghosh, who spared their valuable time in selecting the best photographs from the total entries received. We are thankful to the Federation of Indian Photography.
Barrackpore Photolovers’ Association had organized a seminar and audio visual presentation on Travel Photography by Sri Ratan Lal Biswas on 22/06/2014. Sri Ratan Lal Biswas has been a passionate lover of Himalaya and others. He is a distinguished trekker and travelled more than 18000 kms on foot for the last 42 years. He participated in more than 90 expeditions which include over 200 high altitude passes in Ladakh, Kashmir, Himachal, Garwal, Kumaon, Nepal and Sikkim and over 30 costal and Jungle treks. Sri Biswas has in his credit of 7 books on Travel.
Barrackpore Photolovers’ Association had ventured a Temple Tour at Purulia of West Bengal in two parts. The first part started on 08/08/2014 from Siddheswar Temple of Barakar and covered Gar Panchakot, Budhpur, Pakbirra, Boram Deul, Murguma lake and Suissa. The second part of Temple Tour started on 21/09/2014 and covered Chhoto Balarampur, Charra, Para, Cheliyama, Banda and Telkupi.
